My professional career started at a young age, 17 to be exact, I began my professional career as an Assistant Teacher for the Board of Education in New York city. I spent 5 years in this special program which really taught me to be the professional that I am today.
During this time, I embarked on my first side hustle which was a computer consulting business. I had learned to build and repair computers during an internship at a Queens computer store. This was in the early 90’s when no one really had computers in their homes or even in their offices. It was a great time to be in this industry.
As the years went by, I also began to get into graphic and web design which led me to working with several small businesses. I helped with advertising campaigns, post card mailers, website builds, and as technology shifted video and video editing and of course social media.
The key to surviving during this time of change was by learning how to always remain a student. I learned the power of self-education, places like Barnes and Nobles had become my friend and the Internet taught me that I could learn almost anything on my own without having to take hundreds of thousands of dollars in educational loans.
Business owners also played a part in my business growth. Many of them became mentors who taught me the truths and struggles of business that aren’t taught in business schools.
Over the last 10 years I have been in the digital marketing space working alongside many business owners in developing web strategies to help them shift their traditional marketing to more of an online marketing strategy. But, of course, like many of you I got hit with the pandemic and all the marketing shifts that we all are still adjusting to and on top of that I had my own personal battle with Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
My journey now continues, as I continue to work towards helping businesses and professionals build a successful online presence and spend time developing programs that can help families that are in need and/or fighting cancer.

My Main Business
I’m thrilled to share that Live Like Locals has become my main focus these days. This platform allows me to connect with people and help others achieve the success they’ve been striving for in both business and life. It’s all about fostering genuine connections within communities, not just online, but in person too. We do this through fun public events, markets, and networking gatherings.
A key part of Live Like Locals is building teams. We have an incredible group of hosts and influencers who are passionate about community engagement and growing their own platforms. They inspire and connect with the community in meaningful ways.
We also collaborate with community partners—businesses and non-profit organizations that excel in community outreach. Together, we share and support each other’s missions, creating a powerful network of local impact.
Additionally, we’re expanding our local media presence across various platforms to connect with the community online in entertaining and engaging ways.
